For instance, supply chain disruptions and geopolitical tensions play a role. In January 2023, urea prices reached $900 per ton. However, prices then fell to around $600 per ton. Potash prices surged to $800 per ton in February 2023. Subsequently, they settled at approximately $700 per ton. Phosphate prices have remained relatively stable at $550 per ton.
