Wheat fell to a six-month low on Euronext

Source: APKinform (Ukraine)

On March 11, Euronext wheat prices fell by 1.1%, reaching 221.25 euros per ton, which is coming near the six-month low of 219.25 euros observed on March 7.

The price dynamics were primarily influenced by the euro gaining strength against the U.S. dollar and the decline in wheat futures in Chicago.

Furthermore, the prevailing prices for Russian wheat, ranging from $239 to $241 per ton, applied additional pressure on the quotes, being $5 to $6 lower than the cost of French wheat.
