During the initial seven months of the 2024/25 marketing year (from July to June), Ukraine exported 40.4 thousand tons of wheat flour. This represents a decrease of 36% compared to the same timeframe in the previous marketing year and is nearly half the volume exported in the 2022-2023 marketing year.

This information comes from the data provided by the State Customs Service, as reported by the Union of Flour Mills of Ukraine.

The primary destination for Ukrainian wheat flour this season is the European Union.

Specifically, among the total exported amount, approximately 17,000 tons were delivered to EU nations, nearly 12,400 tons to Moldova, 8,100 tons to Palestine, and around 1,500 tons to Israel.

Additionally, in July 2024, Ukraine commenced flour deliveries to Palestine in collaboration with the World Food Program (WFP), according to Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President.

Through this initiative, Ukraine intended to send over 7,000 tons of wheat flour to Gaza, with assistance from various donors, including Norway, Austria, Estonia, France, and Iceland.
