Ukrainian sugar producers have completed the 2024 season. This was reported by the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrtsukor) on January 22.
According to the report, a total of 28 member factories of the association produced 1.72 million tons of sugar during the season. In addition, production was carried out by one more sugar factory, which is not a member of the association.
“According to estimates, the total sugar production in Ukraine amounted to 1.8 million tons. Thus, the volume of production in 2024 is actually equal to the indicators of the previous year, when the country produced 1.826 million tons,” – stated in the message.
