By April 14, Ukraine had exported 33.894 million tons of grain and pulses since the start of the 2024/25 marketing year, with 1.07 million tons dispatched during the current month. This information comes from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy’s press service, citing preliminary data from the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
For comparison, by April 17 of the previous year, total shipments had reached 38.608 million tons.
Since the onset of this season, the exports by crop have been as follows:
- Wheat: 13.423 million tons in total (300 thousand tons in April)
- Barley: 2.242 million tons (25 thousand tons in April)
- Rye: 10.8 thousand tons (none exported in April)
- Corn: 17.718 million tons (741 thousand tons in April)
Additionally, Ukrainian flour exports since the beginning of the season totaled 55.6 thousand tons as of April 14 (including 2.1 thousand tons in April); within this amount, wheat flour accounted for 51.5 thousand tons (2 thousand tons shipped in April).
