The domestic market of soybeans in Ukraine is still trading at a moderate pace. Market participants note rather high stocks of beans at processors, as a result of which purchase prices record a slight decrease.
According to the electronic grain exchange of Ukraine, on the export market of soybeans demand prices are also slightly decreasing – within 5-7 USD/ton, the cost of an export ton of beans remains in the range of 375-385 USD/ton CPT depending on the port.
This year, it should be recalled, the country has harvested a record soybean crop of 6.1 million tons. Exports of beans from Ukraine on January 6, 2025 reached 460 thousand tons.
In Russia, the cost of soybeans by the beginning of January also shows a decline, the price of beans amounted to 39,200-39,500 rubles with VAT per ton with high protein in the Center at the beginning of January.
