Soybeans are getting cheaper in Ukraine

During the past week, the prices in Ukraine’s domestic soybean market continued to rise. Nevertheless, the pace of this increase slowed due to a rise in raw material supply, as noted by APK-Inform.

Demand for genetically modified soybeans was typically observed within the range of $416-420 $/t CPT.

While the export market did not experience any major price changes, a slight decrease in prices occurred as a result of global market trends. In Ukrainian ports, the demand prices for genetically modified soybeans under CPT-port terms ranged between 384-390 USD/t.

As reported by OleoScope, on February 28, 2025, the price of soybeans (FOB Brazil) for delivery in February was recorded at 382.58 USD/t, reflecting a decrease of 6.67 USD/t compared to the previous day, February 27, 2025, when it was 389.24 USD/t. This represented the lowest price point for the week.
