Prices for soybeans in Ukraine increased by USD 10/ton on average for all destinations. Buyers offered 380-385 USD/ton for GMO soy with delivery to seaports, Ukrainian industry agencies reported.
The premium for non-GMO soy was almost 50-55 USD/ton. Towards Italy, GMO soy was traded in a range of 400-410 EUR/ton DAP, while the premium for non-GMO soy was 30-35 EUR/ton.

The cost of soybeans in Russia fell by 5% in August in anticipation of a record harvest, with the average price for a ton of beans at 40.7 thousand rubles. According to Rosstat, the area under soybean cultivation has increased by more than 15% this year to 4.3 million hectares. At the beginning of September, soybeans were harvested on 173.3 thousand hectares – 4% of the total area – with a yield of 15 quintals per hectare, which is 5 quintals per hectare less than last year. The total yield of beans in the country is expected to be 7.35 million tons.
