Grain exports from Russia could reach 17.5 billion dollars in 2030, up from 16.3 billion dollars in 2023 and 11.4 billion dollars in 2021, Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut said in a presentation shown at the plenary session of the “Golden Autumn 2024” exhibition, Interfax reported.

Earlier, the president had set the task of increasing exports of products of the agro-industrial complex by one and a half times by 2030 compared to 2021, while production should increase by 25%.

Exports of oil and fatty products could rise to $10 billion by 2030 compared to $7.3 billion in 2021 and $8.5 billion in 2023, fish to $7.5 billion compared to $6.6 billion and $5.4 billion, finished products to $15.8 billion compared to $9.9 billion and $11.5 billion, meat and dairy products to $4.4 billion compared to $1.6 billion and $1.8 billion.

Total exports are reported to increase from $43.5 billion in 2023 to $55.2 billion in 2030.

Luth said exports are still lagging behind last year’s figures in terms of value, due to lower global food prices. “We are committed to reducing this shortfall even further,” she said.

At the same time, exports in physical terms are 6-7 percent higher than last year.

The minister also emphasized that all measures of state export promotion will be maintained within the framework of the federal project “Export of agricultural products”, which has been extended until 2030.
