Russia lowers wheat export duty to a record low of 444.4 roubles

The duty on wheat exports from Russia will be reduced from 906.4 rubles to 444.4 rubles per ton from August 7, Interfax writes with reference to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

The new rate is the minimum from the beginning of the tariff calculation in rubles – July 2022. The base price for wheat will be 18 thousand rubles, while the indicative – $ 220.5 per ton. The new rate for wheat will be valid until August 13 inclusive.

Earlier, on July 31, the duty rate was reduced by 70% from 1,540.4 rubles to 906.4 rubles per ton.

The level of customs duties on barley and maize deliveries remains at zero. Tariffs on sunflower oil exports from Russia in August 2024 will also remain zero.
