Prices for corn bound for Europe have risen to the level of €178-180 per ton on terms with loading into a euro wagon. This is reported by the analyst firm Spike Brokers.
Ukrainian corn receives a premium over corn from Eastern Europe, which gives producers in western Ukraine a favorable alternative for marketing and export compared to seaports.
Buyers heading to seaports purchased grain for October at USD 185-187 per ton. The premium for the following months was up to 2 US dollars per ton per month.
