The decline in the cost of sunflower oil on the world market has led to a drop in sunflower prices in Ukraine, Spike Brokers reports.
Over the last week, prices have fallen by 500-700 hryvnia per ton on average. Additional pressure is exerted by the fact that the majority of processors are already provided with raw materials until the end of April.
On the spot market, sunflower oil fell to 1105-1115 dollars per ton DAP port.
“The market has changed direction several times in recent weeks – from rising to falling – adding to the sense of instability,” brokers said.
