As republican news agencies report, the price of flax in Kazakhstan continues to grow. For the last week the oilseed rose in price by 6 thousand tenge per ton or $11.4.
Analytical bureau “Grains and oilseeds. Kazakhstan” in the regular weekly bulletin on trade strategy for crop producers for January 13 reports that the average cost of flax from the elevator is 113 thousand tenge or $213 per ton.
The cost of other oilseeds totaled:
- Sunflower – 161 thousand tenge or $304/ton;
- Canola – 208 thousand tenge or $393/ton;
- New crop safflower – 116 thousand tenge or $219/ton;
- Soybean – 186 thousand tenge or $352/ton;
- Mustard of new crop – 215 thousand tenge or $407/ton.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Analysts of the bureau recommend to use the opportunities of high prices and realize the goods, because further growth of prices according to market indicators is not expected in the nearest future.
