According to APK-Inform news agency, after a rise in feed barley prices since the beginning of the week, a downward trend has been observed at Ukrainian ports.
This trend was supported by a drop in demand from export-oriented companies and the completion of the harvest campaign for this crop. A more significant decline was offset by a small number of offers from agricultural producers.
Thus, demand prices for feed barley in the ports of Greater Odessa decreased by 1-2 USD/ton and are reported in the range of 164-170 USD/ton CPT port as of August 16, 2024. At the same time, demand prices in the Danube ports have fallen by an average of USD 1/ton and are in a range of USD 167-172/ton CPT port.
