The tariff rate for wheat exports from Russia will be 1,780.5 rubles from July 17, compared to 1,701.3 rubles per ton a week earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture reports. It will therefore rise by 4.7%. Export duties on wheat will be raised in Russia for the first time in several weeks. Tariffs on barley and corn will remain at zero for the 14th and 13th consecutive week respectively.
The tariffs on Russian grain will apply from June 2, 2021 and account for 70% of the difference between the base and target prices: Target prices are USD 233.3 per tonne for wheat (USD 235.4 in the previous week), USD 176.5 for barley (USD 175.9) and USD 190.9 for corn (USD 188.4).
From June 28, 2024, the base price for wheat is 18 thousand rubles, for barley and corn – 16.875 thousand rubles per ton.
The prices are valid until July 23 inclusive.
