Russia will increase its export duty on wheat and meslin to Br2,210.7 per ton starting April 16, 2025, up from the earlier rate of Br2,31.4 per ton. Additionally, export duties for other grains have also been raised. The updated tariffs were revealed by Russia’s Ministry of Agriculture on April 11.

The new export duty on barley will be Br365.6 per ton, higher than the preceding Br252.2, and the rate for corn will rise to Br1,374.5 from the previous Br1,251.7 per ton.

The indicative prices stand at $248.1 per ton for wheat, $204 per ton for barley, and $220.9 for corn.

Base prices remain unchanged: Br18,000 per ton for wheat and meslin, and Br16,875 per ton for both barley and corn.

It’s important to note that the export duty equals 70% of the difference between the base and indicative price. This is recalculated weekly using data from export contract prices registered on the Moscow Exchange.

These revised duties will stay in place through April 22.
