According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the total value of Egypt’s wheat imports from January to June 2024 amounted to $2.32 billion, compared to $1.79 billion in the first half of 2023, reports Egypt Today. In June, $261 million worth of wheat imports were imported, compared to $332 million in June 2023.
In total, Egypt imported $5.62 billion worth of products in the first six months of 2024, compared to $5.22 billion in the same period of 2023.
