EFCO Group has increased export shipments by 15 percent year-on-year in 2024, said Sergey Ivanov, Executive Director of EFCO.

“In 2020, we reported that we shipped 1 million tons for export for the first time. 2024 will be the first year when we will ship almost 2 million tons. And we grew by 15 percent compared to last year,” he wrote in his telegram channel.

He noted that the company exported more than 1 million tons of sunflower oil for the first time in a year.

As the press service of EFKO Group told Interfax, this was primarily due to increased supplies to promising Asian markets: China, India and Turkey. They account for about 80% of the total volume. In particular, supplies to India almost doubled over the year, and to China – by 40%. For the first time the company opened supplies to Indonesia, Senegal, Georgia and Armenia.

EFKO specializes in processing of oilseeds, production of packaged oils, fats and margarines, mayonnaise and ketchup. Production facilities in Belgorod, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Sverdlovsk Regions, Krasnodar Territory and Kazakhstan are capable of processing over 4.5 million tons of oilseeds per year.
