Duty on wheat exports from Russia raised from March 27

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, starting March 27, the export duty on wheat from Russia will rise to 3,298.6 rubles per ton, up from 3,143 rubles the previous week, reflecting an increase of 4.9%.

In addition, the barley duty has increased to 573.3 rubles, up from 408.1 rubles per ton, while the duty on corn has dropped to zero from 71.2 rubles.

These rates were determined using indicative prices, which stand at $235.8 per ton for wheat (down from $236 a week ago), $181.3 for barley (compared to $181.2), and $172.1 for corn (a decrease from $175.9).

The base prices remain unchanged at 17,000 rubles per ton for wheat, 15,875 rubles for barley, and an equal amount for corn.

These duty rates will remain in effect until April 2.
