ANEC projects that Brazil’s soybean exports will hit 14.8 million tons in March 2025, marking an increase of 1.25 million tons compared to the same month last year.

For the year 2025, ANEC anticipates that Brazil’s soybean exports might total 110 million tons, presenting a significant logistics challenge. Achieving this export goal would represent an increase of approximately 13 million tons over 2024 and surpass the previous record of 101.3 million tons set in 2023.

Meanwhile, AgRural estimates that Brazil’s total soybean harvest for the marketing year 2024/25 will reach 168.2 million tons. Analysts believe that the trade conflict initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump with China may provide Brazilian agricultural exporters with the chance to gain a larger market share in China at the expense of American farmers.
