According to market participants, the Algerian state agency ONAB has announced an international tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed maize from Brazil and/or Argentina in three batches of 40,000 tons each for delivery in September.
It has also announced a tender for the import of 35,000 tons of feed barley of random origin for delivery between 15 and 30 September.
In addition, the importer is looking for 40,000 tons of soybean meal for delivery in September.
