DAP

In the case of delivery on a DAP basis, the seller is responsible for the delivery of the goods, including transportation costs, to the named place of destination at the buyer’s premises. The costs for carrying out all necessary import formalities are expressly excluded. These are borne by the buyer. Therefore, all duties in connection with the import in the country of destination are to be paid by the buyer or recipient.
