On July 9, the Bangladesh Directorate General of Food (DGF) held a tender for the purchase of 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin. This was reported by the Zerno Online agency with reference to Reuters.
The lowest price was offered by JK International – $268.9 CIF liner out.
The following companies also participated in the tender:
- Arista Trading, which offered wheat at $275.65 per ton
- Orexim Trading – $277 per ton
- Agrocorp – $279.38 per ton
- Cereal Crops – $285.5 per ton
- Aston – $288.88 per ton
Under the terms of the wheat procurement tender Bangladesh, shipment will take place within 40 days of signing the contract to the ports of Chittagong and Mongla. Wheat can be supplied from any country except Israel.
The offers for wheat procurement tender Bangladesh are still being considered, and no purchase has been reported yet, traders said.
