Shortly, the initial products from Kazakhstan branded as “Eurasian Legacy” will be making their debut in the U.S. market. The American retail distribution network is prepared, along with the necessary infrastructure for the packaging and bottling of Kazakhstani goods, as reported by Kazinform.

It has been outlined that “UMI Capital Holding,” an investor operating across four continents, is collaborating with the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in New York to establish a wholesale center for Kazakhstani exports to the United States.

The emphasis is placed on the “organic products” segment, which enjoys significant popularity in the U.S. The inaugural shipment of high-quality organic goods from Kazakhstan will include flour, buckwheat, sunflower oil, and various other agricultural items.

Additionally, it has been noted that a meeting between business representatives from Kazakhstan and the U.S. took place as part of the “Kazakhstan Business & Networking” initiative, hosted by the Global New York Chamber of Commerce.

During this gathering, researcher Darren Spink from the Henry Jackson Society highlighted Kazakhstan’s considerable potential as a vital component of the supply chain. He emphasized the necessity for modernizing the logistics associated with the port of Aktau, rail systems, including the link between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and road networks, all within a context of customs systems digitalization. This modernization effort calls for direct foreign investments from the U.S. and its allies. The first step that the U.S. Congress could take to facilitate this is by abolishing the Jackson-Vanik amendment, thereby providing Kazakhstan with permanent normal trade relations with the United States.
