Duty on Russian wheat exports decreased by 8.9 percent from January 13

The rate of duty on wheat exports from Russia decreased by 8.9% to 4,346 rubles from 4,768 rubles per ton from January 13, reports the Ministry of Agriculture. The duty on barley also decreased to 2,220 rubles from 2,781 rubles per ton, while corn – to 4,366 rubles from 4,894 rubles per ton.

The rates were calculated based on indicative prices: $240.8 per ton for wheat ($240.4 for the previous period), $199.4 – for barley ($202), $229.9 – for corn ($230). The base prices have not changed, starting from June 28, 2024, the base price for wheat is 18,000, for barley and corn – 16.875 rubles per ton.

The rates will be valid for only two days – from January 13 to January 14, inclusive.

The duty on sunflower oil exports for January 2025, we remind, amounted to 16,067 rubles (previously 9,195 rubles), having increased 1.7 times. The rate on meal for the current month is 4,771 rubles, up from 3,788 rubles earlier.
