To date, more than 5.4 million hectares of grain and pulses have been harvested in Kazakhstan. With an average yield of 14.7 centners per hectare, almost 8 million tons of grain have been threshed, reports the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In detail:
- Wheat was harvested on an area of 3.7 million hectares, with a yield of 14.2 quintals per hectare; 5.4 million tons were threshed;
- 1.2 million hectares of barley were harvested, 1.9 million tons were threshed with a yield of 15.8 quintals per hectare;
- Oats – 99.4 thousand hectares, 145.9 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 14.7 quintals per hectare.
