National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). NASS is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) responsible for collecting and disseminating data on agricultural production, prices, and other related statistics. NASS conducts surveys and censuses to collect data on crops, livestock, and other agricultural commodities to inform decision-making in the agricultural industry, government, and academia.
